Every leak answered, every estimate captured
Roofing inquiries arrive as texts and web chats at all hours, and most are gone if nobody replies the same day. EveryContact qualifies the job, treats an active leak as urgent, and books or requests the estimate.
What goes wrong today
Estimate requests go cold fast
A homeowner shopping for a roof contacts several companies. Slow replies lose the bid.
Leaks need different handling
An active leak is not the same inquiry as a replacement quote and should not sit in the same queue.
Seasonal spikes
After hail, the phones do not stop, and the routine work gets lost in the surge.
Intake
The questions it actually asks
These come from the general roofing intake template, which you can edit. EveryContact asks them conversationally, one or two at a time — not as a form.
Required before a lead counts as qualified
- Ask what they need — a repair, a replacement, an inspection or an estimate.
- Ask whether the roof is currently leaking.
- Ask whether the property is residential or commercial.
- Ask who you are speaking with.
- Confirm the best callback number.
- Ask for the address of the property that needs service.
Plus 3 optional questions it asks when the conversation allows.
Default services for this trade

Roofing intake
Illustrativeneed a quote for a new roof, shingles are curling badly
Happy to help. Is the roof leaking at the moment, or is this ahead of a problem?
not leaking yet, roof is about 22 years old
Understood. Residential or commercial, and what is the property address?
residential, 1420 Oak Street
Thanks — that's in our area. What mornings or afternoons suit you for someone to come out and measure?
An active leak raises urgency; a planned replacement does not. Both are captured properly rather than one crowding out the other.
Urgency handling for this trade
- Dispatcher acknowledgement window
- 20 min
- Emergency urgency threshold
- 5
If your primary contact does not acknowledge within the window, it escalates to your backup. If nobody accepts, the customer is told service is not confirmed.
Safety first, always
If a roof has collapsed or a customer describes a structural failure, the response is to leave the building and call 911 before anything about repairs.
What EveryContact does and does not do
Live AI voice answering is planned for a later release. We would rather tell you now than have you find out after you buy.
It does
- Answer and hold text conversations with customers
- Answer questions through chat on your website
- Detect a missed call and text the caller back
- Qualify the job and collect the details you need
- Flag emergencies and page your on-call person
- Request or book appointments
It does not
- Pick up the phone and talk to callers
- Replace your dispatcher's judgement
- Quote prices you have not given it
- Promise a crew before a person confirms
- Text anyone who has not authorized it
See it handle a general roofing call
The demo is pointed at a fictional restoration company, but the intake and safety behavior are real.
